RAB: Those Attempting to Disrupt Law and Order Around June 23 Will Face Risks

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-2) Commander Naimul Hasan stated that anyone attempting to disrupt law and order with weapons through prohibited activities around June 23, the founding anniversary of the Awami League, will face risks.

He made this statement at a press conference held on Sunday (June 21) at the RAB-2 office in Mohammadpur, regarding the arrest of 5 snatchers.

Naimul Hasan said, “Especially if anyone related to June 23 intends to create any disorder, they have already been sent a message not to create any chaos. If they try to create any risk for us, they themselves will be at risk.”

He stated that RAB arrested Maura Sohel with weapons based on intelligence information. Based on his information, two more snatchers, Shofiqul Islam Sobuj and Russel, were arrested. Maura Sohel, who was arrested, has 14 cases of snatching and extortion against him.
