Wife Arrested on Accusation of Slitting Second Husband’s Throat in Fatulla

In the Uttar Delpara area of Fatulla Police Station, Narayanganj, Munni (40) has been accused of slitting the throat of her husband, Joni (40). The deceased Joni was Munni’s second husband. This tragic incident occurred on Monday (June 29) morning.

According to local sources, the murder took place in a residence in the Uttar Delpara area due to a family dispute. At one point, Munni allegedly attacked her second husband Joni’s throat with a sharp weapon, causing him to die on the spot.

Upon receiving the news, Fatulla Model Police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and began inquest procedures. The accused wife, Munni, has reportedly been taken into police custody for questioning.

Locals claim that a long-standing family dispute existed between the couple. However, no conclusive information regarding the exact motive behind the murder has been revealed yet.

A source from Fatulla Police Station stated that an investigation is underway to uncover the true cause of the incident. Preparations are being made to send the body to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
